SOUTH CAROLINA | Lake Greenwood | MAY | PM | 72 | 24 | Shad Rap - Suspending - Green and white | boat docks | 4 to 7 feet | clear and sunny | 76 | I arrived at the lake about 1pm and didnt figure the fishing would be great. Over the next 4 hours I caught 7 bass. Most of them were 1lb or less but one of them went at least 4 lbs. I was surprised at how good the fish were biting. Nexst weekend is a Holiday weekend and I can't wait to go back for 3 days of fishing. |

TEXAS | Cedar Creek Lake | MARCH | Evening | 70'S | 24 | Humm Dingers (bright purple) | backs of coves | 5-20' | mostly cloudy | 80's | sandbass and hybrids have real good times herding shad in the backs of coves. If you cast a Humm Dinger in a bright purple color you will fill the ice chest up or live well. It sounds like B.S. but it's true because i've tried them recently just messing around and they absolutely love them to death. I usually chunck it out there and let it sink about half way down and them just rip it up with my All Star Big Boy 7'6 and Team Daiwa Steez reel and they will grab it and wont let go. |
