The machine exchanged hands to a private buyer after its components failed, before being sold to Michael Brice (iMac600, 68kMLA) in July 2009. The system is a restoration project. The case has very little if any yellowing. The logic board ROMs are exact match replacement parts, the logic board and analog board capacitors are new and the solder has been replaced with fresh lead based solder. It now resides as a show piece, getting occasional use for demonstration and for fun with applications such as MacWrite, MacPaint and "Amazing", the Maze game from the Getting Started disks.
