Animal Database
We are slowly building up a database of animals (real/alive today, extinct, and mythical) as an inspiration bank to make it easier to search for familiar ideas. This database is fully editable by anyone.submission guidelines
- Please check that the animal you want to submit isn't already in the database! (Tip: try searching for its Latin name).
- Please check your spelling and include as many details as possible in the given fields to help other players.
- You can include anything you like in the "Notes" section, providing it isn't an essay ;)
- Please identify mythical or extinct animals under "status".
- If you have invented the animal yourself, you can classify it as a "shamanimal" under "status".
searchable terms
*Note: the search function only looks up the start of the field entry. So if you try and search Elephant under "common name", it will display the Elephant Bird but not the African Elephant.
