Proven fire magicians in the Khalid family all bear a brand on the inside of one of their wrists of an upward-pointing triangle (the alchemical symbol for fire) as a symbol of their power; since Danya was married into the family, it is up to her adopter whether or not she also bears the brand. | | Personality: | Danya is a quiet woman but she isn't a shrinking violet. She's fiercely protective of her children, particularly the youngest two, hana and kamal, and dotes on them. She taught all her children rather than send them to the academy, and very much so spent her time instilling in them their history and the importance of being fire magicians.
