She is watched over by Sergeant Alecsandar Blake (AKA Bartholomew Perl). Eirik and Cassandra also lost their son Alec at 2 weeks of age, he would be 20 in present day.
The only people he loves besides Bas are his wife and his eldest son. Cassian walked in his fathers shadow from day one, wanting to follow in his footsteps and make him proud which is exactly what Eirik feels when he looks at his eldest. He pretends like Niccolaus does not exist and tolerates Sebastian who has no interest in the family business. It is rumored this is because he accused his wife of being unfaithful and that Niccolaus was not his but while those rumors were squashed, he still harbors something near hatred towards his middle child (often being overheard that he wished it was Niccolaus who had died instead of Alec).

He himself would never kill magicians, but he would not bat an eye at enslaving them. Eirik has been married once before to a woman named Sasha Olberon (she had been 15 and he had been 17). She died at the age of 21 during childbirth, the child did not survive, it was their third miscarriage.
