He was told by the Guardians that Aylina was killed by Gracelynn during a magic incident, and it has only fueled his newfound hatred of magic. However, the Guardians were lying to him. They were the ones who killed Aylina and now look for Gracelynn. Tobias loved his family more than anything, but has been given the mission to kill his daughter since she is a Magic User.
