I have caught bass upward of 7lbs on a good day, the lake was shocked by the missouri department of conservation in 2003and there were two bass larger than the current missouri state record of 13lb14oz, thats why I fish this lake so much. MISSOURI Big River APRIL Evening 50'S 30 Shad Rap / yum wooly hawgtail pumkin seed current seam 1- 4 feet High water, warm days after a large rain 70's Fish low water bridges, on the exit side the bass will move as far up to the bridge as possible,or you can fish the main river,if so fish on the down stream side of bolders or wood structure.
