TEXAS | Cedar Creek Lake | MARCH | Evening | 70'S | 24 | Humm Dingers (bright purple) | backs of coves | 5-20' | mostly cloudy | 80's | sandbass and hybrids have real good times herding shad in the backs of coves. If you cast a Humm Dinger in a bright purple color you will fill the ice chest up or live well. It sounds like B.S. but it's true because i've tried them recently just messing around and they absolutely love them to death. I usually chunck it out there and let it sink about half way down and them just rip it up with my All Star Big Boy 7'6 and Team Daiwa Steez reel and they will grab it and wont let go. |
TEXAS | Cedar Creek Lake | MARCH | Dawn | 60'S | 24 | Zipper worms | boat docks | 2-10' | clear | 70's | If you chunk a zipper worm around the boat docks at the right time you can feel the live well up. Take the electric knife with you so you can cetch your limit of them bucket-mouth,clean em them cetch some more. I usually fill my whole freezer up with them big bass fillets, and they are good! Thats the only fish I like eating, especially them big spawning females, I'll jerk em right off of their nest and hall them in the boat and the next place they go is in the fryer. One day I caught three limits on that zipper worm, and I ate all of em,and enjoyed it. |
TEXAS | Cedar Creek Lake | MARCH | PM | 60'S | 3 | Hoo Daddy Jr. | boat houses | 5' | sunny | 100's | chunk the hoo daddy jr. all around the boat houses. It really dont matter where you chunck it because them bass go buck wild over the hoo daddy jr. |
