DILG has ready Steel Bridging Materials for release at any time for Anahao Presidential Bridge. However, as counterpart, the Provincial Government is required to construct the bridge abutment and cranesway bridge which will amount to Php 12M. Many barangays are affected by the absence of this bridge causing discouragement of folks to produce more agri-products because of the hardship in transporting their harvest to the market.
The Office of Civil Defense is more concern about the preservation of lives and properties of our people. If this bridge is not constructed, many more lives and properties may again perish as has happened before.

Six barangays will benefit from this bridge if constructed. However, every year it is observe that the river banks are getting greater and wider because of rapid soil erosion wrought by flood. There is an immediate need to arrest further erosion lest the Presidential Bridge Component may no longer fit for the length of the river has already expanded as it grows every year. It is therefore imperative that a measure be instituted to save the same by constructing a river flood control.
