| | Specialty: | | | Program Name: | st barnabas, new york | | Interview Information / Experience: | day starts around 8. give a longish quiz which has med n non-med questions, and seems pointless. there are about 30 people to be interviewed daily. the program director does all the interviewing, and just ask a few questions related to the CV. they ask everyone to let them know if interested in a pre-match. after the interview, they have some refreashments. then the cheif resident comes and answers questions. he was very matter-of-fact about the high ratio of HIV and Hepatitis in the patient population, as well as the scutwork all the residents have to do. he mentioend that himself included, some of the residents have had to undergo HIV prophylaxis too, because of work-related needle pricks. after this, he took us on a tour, which alsted about half an hour. the place is about a 30 minute drive away from the nearest subway station. | | Source / Name: | | | Info.
