| Interview Information / Experience: | They will pay for the hotel and you will be given a brochure about the program. A resident will pick you up from the hotel the next day and bring you to the hospital. You will have breakfast, after which you will attend the morning report. You will have 3 interviews in the morning with the chairman and 2 faculty. There will be a tour of the hospital and lunch with the residents. In the afternoon there will be 2 interviews with the PD and the PC. They ask generic questions, but also questions like how you want to be remembered, about your family, medical errors you made. There is 1 resident asssigned to the applicants the whole day. The program is small, but very good and organized. They have a family-type of working environment. The place is very beautiful, if you like a small college town setting, otherwise it could be pretty lonely. They lack peds neuro and endo attendings, but are currently hiring. They have a brand-new hospital. They take in IMGs, but will have to compete with AMGs since they have their own med. school. |
