Interview Information / Experience: | Starts at 9:00 AM with an mcq test, step 3 type questions, many questions related to public health(prevalence in US etc), not easy, not too tough.
This was followed by introduction by the Vice Chairman(formerly chairman before hospital was taken over by Montefiore)This was followed by individual interviews with either chairman or PD. Thos who ived with the Chairman (like me) did not even get to say hello to the PD or hear his voice. We were not offered coffee or water throughout the day. After IV we went for a tour of the hospital with the chief resident, did not meet any other residents.Only advantage is that there are fellowships at this program in Geriatrics, Heam onc,GI and nephro.
Big disadvantage is the location, its in the bronx, but area did not look so bad, however the convenience store outside the hospital did have a bullet proof glass in front of the cashier.... |
