Interview Information / Experience: | I chose not to stay at the HIlton Garden Hotel they offered to pay, since I had a friend living nearby. No Resident Dinner on the Previous Night, which I think is better coz then you have one less thing to worry about.
The day began with a Dermscope Observation session at 8 am followed by interviews with 5 Faculty. Great Faculty, many of them harvard trained at some point of their academic journey. No Medical Questions. Lively and enthusiastic faculty and Program Director.
A good proportion of IMGs and AMGs..they are all happy with the program (excellent teaching) but not too happy with Springfield City as such - which I agree too. But costs of living are low in springfield as compared to Boston and Worcester.
After the faculty interviews, we had a tour of the facility followed by a guest speaker lecture along with lunch.
Visas: J1 no probs, rarely H1 has been offered in the past.
Prematches: Rarely, as per the resident
Fellowships - they have only 2 fellowships, but most of their residents get fellowships of their choices in good places |
