At 9, the PD sat down with us and told us about the program. She talked about core competency which was stressed a lot here. She mentioned that residents had gone on to fellowships at Johns Hopkins and other good places. Then 2 interviews- one with PD, one with the Chair. I found them both to be honest, funny, intelligent people. THey were really in tune with the rigors of the match for IMGs, they understood immigration and visa issues, and seemed supportive of their residents even after residency. Morale amongst the residents was good, seemed like a lot of good humor and laughing through out the day.
