Interview Information / Experience: | Accomodation is provided at the Sleep Inn, which is nice enough. The day starts early at 6:45 AM, and you are taken to the hospital for the morning report. Following this are the interviews. Mine were by the PD and APD. Pleasant enough. No medical stuff asked, but lota of scenarios involving ethics. This was followed by a tour of the hospital by a final year resident. Very Impressive facility. Lunch was at the gorgeous cafeteria where we were asked to have whatever we wanted. BTW food is FREE for the residents. Also, they have a very generous relocation package. Finally, we were shown around the city of Johnstown. Everyone is pleasant. Some things that worry me are:
1. The place seems sleepy and everyone is a little too laid back for my taste. The resident kept hinting that the workload is not the biggest.
2. Not many fellowship opportunities.
H-1B's are offered, but generally no prematch.
