| Interview Information / Experience: | Interview was at 12.00 O 'Clock. we were greeted by PC in main lobby. then we sat for sometime in dept. and interviewed by two people at a time, PD and Assoc. PD .they asked me to present an interesting case. then asked general questions like experience and plans after residency. then tour of hospital. small program nine residents. Chief resident gave a pathetic
presentation of the program. they were trying to emphasize that its good they dont have fellowships as residents can learn more (????). average community program. in very nice area. housing available but very expensive. area overall is very expensive. hospital was very clean but nothing much to learn as most of them are private patients , no cardiology department in there. no autonomy for residnets . no chances of fellowships after that. but still better then other community programs,. But all the leadership is new.
PD joined in July 2005 , and rest of the assoc. PD s were new ..
they are bringing some changes in program with which residents were not happy. |
