| Interview Information / Experience: | Not bad..got there at 7:45 am, attended grand rounds with the residents, then were taken to a room where we met with the PD where she gave us a short intro,then we had 2 intv, tour of LICH campus , lunch and tour of BI campus.
I liked the program, especially BI, seems like there is alot of stress on education, the workload is alot tho, 1st yrs have night float, you do 7 calls a mo. in first yr and 2nd yr., nice facility, very nice neuro center in BI, they have a mandatory rotation in comm. peds where u go out in the community..the residents seemed happy , and very friendly.
Problems: Commuting b/w BI and Lich, expensive, lots of scutwork..
but overall one on the nicer pedes Programs in NY metro area |
