The best attitude to candidates I've ever heard of. You feel like an AMG. Program pays for a hotel stay, gives you a present, conducts a short city tour, and finally buys you a cup of coffe and a cake in a cafe in the town. It makes them memorable. Even though the residents looked 100% IMG, I was interviewed with 2 AMG who also wanted to get into categorical program. PD is very polite. Interviews are conducted by 3 faculty members, no medical questions are asked. There is also a short exit interview with a PD. I heard from the residents that very few positions are offered through the pre-match, most go through the match. Morning report was not impressive. I especially did not like that the PD devoted a lot of time to AMGs and to some extent ignored IMGs. But this observation may be very subjective. I enjoyed bed-site teaching conducted by one of the faculty members. Faculty is very approachable. This part of town is relatively safe. and affordable housing is available. Hospital has its own apartments and the dorm both of which are incredibly cheap.
