| Interview Information / Experience: | interview is scheduled at odd hours, mine was at 3:00 pm. be wary of the location; best to go by taxi as I went there by LIRR and it was the last stop. and yes, no taxis on site... scary... i was glad to have the PC's number on hand and called her for a taxi phone no. anyway, the interview was long. started with intro about the program then asked general questions. lasted around 5 minutes. the next 35 mins was the longest of my life. he started asking med questions... and if you don't satisfy him, he will ask another one. i just felt like it need not be... i guess he wants to know you can work as a PGY 1 straight ahead coz there's a lot of scut work and less to nil teaching. |
