INTERVIEWS DATABASE HOME
| Specialty: | Pediatrics | Program Name: | Driscoll Children's Hospital, Corpus Christi, Texas | Interview Information / Experience: | My interview started early morning with Morning Report. Chief resident took me to the cafeteria before the morning report started and offered me breakfast. After morning report, interviews started. No medical questions asked. 2 faculty members and PD interviewed me. very nice and approachable people. PD very nice and friendly. faculty was brilliant. Residents seemed happy. No scutwork. No medical questions asked, more of a light talk in a very relaxed atmosphere. Then chief resident took me for a tour of the hospital. Very nice and well equipped hospital. The best thing was that it is completely a pediatrics facility. Stunning view of Gulf of Mexico from the top floor. Then the cheif resident interviewed me. Very informal. Opportunity to ask a lot of questions during the interview as there was no dinner the night before. I was free to go around 10:30 AM. Very nice experience, very nice welcoming people and great facility. I will definitely want to go there. | Source / Name: | Res. Applicant | Info.
