Synopsis:Based on the true story of Viennese Jew, Theresia Steiner. She escaped from Austria in 1938 and came to England. There she worked for a family as a nanny. They all went to Guernsey when war was declared. She was stopped from leaving when the island was evacuated on the eve of Nazi invasion. This was done by the Island police. Through British collaboration with the Nazis, she, and other refugee Jews on the Channel Islands, was deported to Auschwitz where she was gassed. This play reveals a secret history. It was successfully shown in England, France and Germany. It was banned in Guernsey as it incriminates the guilty.
