Play Title:Correction
Runtime:61-90 minutes
Synopsis:Dr. Jennifer Darling finally has it all. Attractive, energetic, with a thriving practice on Park Avenue, she now snares a wealthy philanthropist, Seymour Schulman, to ensure her place in society. Their marriage plans are grandiose, orchestrated by an over-the-top wedding planner and attended by the ‘who’s who’ of New York’s upper crust.

While on their honeymoon, the New York Times prints a “correction” that reveals Dr. Darling’s educational background and professional credentials are a total fraud. She’s branded a liar and a phony, her practice is over, and she may even face legal charges. Seymour must protect his own hard-earned reputation and standing in the community, while at the same time deal with this stranger who is supposed to be his wife. And then we learn that deceptions and embarrassing secrets are not just Jennifer’s alone. It seems nearly everyone has a ghost in the closet.

Correction is a new-age morality play wrapped inside an urbane comedy. It’s a reflection of our times.
