Synopsis:Play takes place in the office of Dr Bronson as she works fervently with her prime patient, Berta, former spokeswoman for the Women's Movement. In a few days Dr Bronson is bringing Berta to nationally televised conference on Schizophrenia. Dr Bronson is the featured speaker and presenting Berta as the Cure. Play opens a few days before conference in Dr Bronson's office - Berta has begun to slide backwards and refuses to come to the conference. Play deals with the relationship between these two women and with their struggles to find meaning and love. It explores the nature of illness, mental health, love, rejection and what is truly needed for a cure. Close of the play is the Conference on Schizophrenia, and audience members are the attendees as well.
