In a dream like state, Nancy Miracle, her daughter, for all intents and purposes never born, recollects her time spent with her mother, at Lee Strasberg's class and on stage at the Lyric Theatre, in Little Red Riding Hood, from where the title comes, voice from offstage, "Riding Hood, Riding Hood, where for art thou?" "Here I am mother!" she responds. The play tells of Nancy Cusumano's Italian American heritage, and her relationship with Joe DeMaggio and Arthur Miller.
