Synopsis:Set in Scotland. Myth, legend and magic reworked to tell a hidden story of Scotland's heritage. Tells the story of the mother of Glasgow's Saint Mungo.

The niece and hostage of the legendary King Arthur is enthralled with Christianity and defies her pagan father by refusing to marry his choice of husband for her. Banished to the pig-fields to think again, she is approached by the would-be bridegroom and protected by a mute herdsman. Falling pregnant and still defiant, she escapes miraculously from the death punishment her father metes out. Finally she is cast adrift on the River Forth in a tiny coracle.
