Play Title:The Lily & Lou Show
Runtime:91-120 minutes
Synopsis:THE LILY & LOU SHOW follows Lily and Lou Finklebaum and their beautiful daughter Allison at three crucial moments in time.

A BRIS IS STILL A BRIS: Lily & Lou Finklebaum arrive at the hospital to meet their very first grandchild for the very first time. When they start planning Baby Charlie’s bris (ritual Jewish circumcision) they discover that their beloved daughter Allison and her non-Jewish husband David have a few plans of their own for the new baby.

JEWS DON’T CAMP: Thirteen years later, Lily & Lou are on a road trip to kidnap Charlie and whisk him away for a quickie Bar Mitzvah. When the car breaks down in the Mojave Desert, it turns out to be more than just a little wrinkle in an otherwise perfect plan.

THE QUEEN OF SHIVA: Twelve more years and Lily is in the hospital. Maybe it’s stomach cancer, maybe it’s her gall bladder or maybe it’s just gas. But why hope for the best when you can worry about the worst? Lily conscripts Allison to help plan Lily's final public appearance.

Together, they add up to a story of love, struggle, and a lot of laughs as the torch is passed from one Jewish mother to the next one.
