Notes:"America" explores ethnicity, race, religion, and culture in the United States. Sound collage, music and movement complement the text as it undresses stereotypes and prejudices, creating a provocative social commentary that challenges contemporary belief systems. "America" was conceived as a 90-minute theater-dance hybrid. The play can also be performed as an hour-long one-act with minimal choreography.
