Two years ago when Georgia married Michael, her brother Ben forced her to choose either him or her husband on whom to bestow her loyalty. Her choice of Michael resulted in a bitter quarrel six months ago that sent Ben traveling across the country on a trip that he and Georgia had fantasized about since childhood. Since then her guilt has propelled her into sabotaging her marriage which is now all but over when a package of Benís property arrives at her doorstep. Georgia is terrified that this means her brother is dead and she is to blame. As she desperately searches for a clue that will exonerate her among Benís belongings, memories, both bidden and unbidden veer toward the truth. Now, to keep from losing the one person she loves, Georgia must fight her own fear of love itself and face the only member of her family she failed to rescue - herself.
