    Title:Watch your Diet
    Article:Watch your Diet

Healthy diet is one of the most important things for your health.

Obesity increases risk for heart disease, hypertension, arthritis, diabetes mellitus type II, brain stroke,
breathing problems, diseases of and liver, sleep apnea, osteoarthritis, genital problems and cancer.
Your weight is the outcome of your physical activity and your diet mostly.

Your weight compares to your height. This ratio is calculated by body mass index (BMI).
Women are overweight when BMI is higher than 25. More than 30 means obese woman. Recent
research data suggest that the measuring your waist may be even more important than just knowing
    BMI.

Premature death and disability rises for BMI of 25 or more. These health risks increase as the BMI
rises. Your may check your BMI on www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi..

Dietary Guidelines for Americans http://www.healthierus.gov advice to eat balanced food by
consuming a variety of nutrient-packed foods every day. Count your calories.

Fruits are good for your health. Any type of fruits that you can chew (fresh, frozen, dried_ are better
than just fruit juice in general for healthy person. It is because fruits contain significant quantity of fiber,
which helps a lot in the digestion. Fibers help to form bulk mass, stimulate peristaltic movements,
absorb toxic substances, maintain healthy balance of gut microorganisms, etc. People in countries,
consuming more fibers, have less incidence of colon cancer. Chew well. Eating an orange is more
beneficial than just drinking orange juice, for example. 2,000 calorie diet would require 2 cups of fruit
    each day.
Choose green leafy vegetables, for example, broccoli. Red and yellow-colored vegetables contain a lot
of carotene, precursor of vitamin A.

Fried food in general has more cancerogenes than let say broiled food. The process of frying creates a
number of aromatic chemical substances that are known to be cancerogenous. From the other hand, it
is difficult to name a food that do not have cancerogenes at all. Because majority of foods need some
chemical conservants, because majority of plants need fertilizers and pesticides to be produced,
because many natural plants may contain cancerogens as well and because plants and animals
accumulate different harmful substances from environment, it is really difficult to point that some food is
totally cancerogene-free. Rather, you should avoid foods with known high content of some known
    cancerogenes.

Also your diet requires different micro elements to be balanced. So, it is useful to get calcium-rich foods
(milk, yogurt, cheese).Look also for foods that are balnced in vitamins and microelements.
Whole-grain foods are also beneficial (cereals, breads, rice, oats, or corn), especially for your guts.
If you eat a lot of meat, it is better to use lean sources of protein, such as lean meats and poultry. Fish,
nuts and seeds also contain some protective substances that are good for your heart, blood vessels and
    your health overall.
