Title: What is diagnosis for cirrhosis?
    Article:Your doctor finds cirrhosis
    after listening your
    complaints and performing
    the physical examination.
    Liver usually feels
    enlarged and harder than
    usual.
    Blood tests show liver problems.
    When your liver does not
    work properly, your doctor
    may suggest liver biopsy.
    Liver biopsy means that a
    small piece of tissue from
    your liver is taken for
    study. Usually the biopsy
is taken by a doctor, who is
    using a special needle
    Other tests include
    computerized tomography
    ultrasound, magnetic
    resonance imaging, liver
    scans with a harmless radioactive
    substance. Liver maybe
    also examined by using
    laparoscopy.

    The complaints suspicious
    for cirrhosis include
    muscle weakness, loss of appetite,
    nausea, weight loss, itch,
    swellings. Doctor looks for
    the signs of cirrhosis:

*Enlarged liver and spleen (the reason is congestion
    after overload with blood)

*Yellow skin, eyes and space under your tongue (the
    yellowing is named Jaundice)

    *Wasted muscles

    *Scratches (because patient
    scratches his itching skin,

*Ascites – fluid accumulation in abdominal
    cavity,foot and ankle swelling

    *Spider nevi – small dilated
    blood vessels on the skin

    Normal liver produces huge
    quantity of numerous
    special proteins for
    different functions of your
    organism. Abnormal
    production of the proteins
    causes:
    Rashes, Urtica (wheals),
    Purpura (red raised rash),
    Vasculitis (blood vessels
    inflammation)
    Joint and muscle pains,
    kidney problems, damage of
    nerves, immune system
    problems.
