So he lost the school elections. It's just not FAIR! So when he meets the Illusionist and tells him what steps he has to take to reach the Sea of Justice he is determined to do it. The only problem is that the Illusionist didn't tell him that if he enters the Sea of Justice without being re-Breathed, he will be destroyed. Nathan and Denise set out to save him, but they aren't re-Breathed themselves yet. And Josh is on a quick path to destruction. First comes physical appearance. He alters and alters and alters it till he has what he believes to be a perfect body. Then comes popularity. With little trouble he has everyone believing he is the greatest and therefore the most popular. Can Denise and Nathan save him without being destroyed themselves? | Extra Notes: | This particular trip to Fayrah deals with salvation in a creative manner. Josh is so hungry for perfection he alters and actually ruins his appearance, he convinces people of things that aren't really true, and nearly destroys himself trying to be his definition of perfect rather than Imager's. It is amazingly well done, creative and powerful, as is the rest of this series. I highly recommend this series! | Reviewer: | J:-)mi | Recommendation Scale: | 5 |
