No matter what Heather says! Jodi is absolutely convinced it is wrong and stupid! If she wants to be a witness to Kat, going to something like that is not the way to do it. However, a prompting from God gets her there long enough to find Kat lying unconscious next to a dead boy with two needles next to them. Trusting the wrong people with this knowledge leads her and Bruce into a fight for their very lives! | Extra Notes: | Intense, scary, a bit over the top, and sad. Those are the best ways to describe this one. Drug dealers, human organ sellers, Russian Mafia and a bunch of drugged up teenagers make for a pretty bad combination. By the end of the book, one of the teens is dead and two more are in a fight for their life, along with one of the drug dealers. A man using the raves as a cover up slips kids lethal drugs, then sneaks away their bodies to sell the organs. The police look the other way and the adults seems to be in on it. It's a pretty hard look at the downsides of drug usage. | Reviewer: | J:-)mi | Recommendation Scale: | 4 |
