| Renovation bids due May 2nd | Brothers,
Just an update on the renovation project, scheduled for this Summer. General contractor bids are due on May 2nd, with work to begin one week after that. Our architect, Kurt Mackey, expects three of the four general contractors to submit bids - Welker Construction, Helland Construction, and Story Construction. House Corp's building committee will then evaluate each bid and choose the best one in terms of price, past relationship, and references. Completion for this phase, which will include the entire basement level, two prototype study rooms, and updates to the cold-air dorm, will be completed mid-July! I know it's been a long wait, but it will be well worth it.
I'll keep you posted on the developments.

My name is Steve Hanson. I joined the Alpha Iota chapter in 1975. I kived at the house and was an active member for 2 years befor transfering to a small school in Georgia.
