It Is Better To Be Alone, Than In The Wrong Company
Tell me who your best friends are, and I will tell you who you are. If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl. But, if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar to great heights. “A mirror reflects a man’s face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses.” The simple but true fact of life is that you become like those with whom you closely associate – for the good and the bad.
The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. As you grow, your associates will change. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are. Friends that don’t help you climb will want you to crawl. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream. Those that don’t increase you will eventually decrease you. Consider this:
Never receive counsel from unproductive people.
Never discuss your problems with someone incapable of contributing to the solution, because those who never succeed themselves are always first to tell you how. Not everyone has a right to speak into your life. You are certain to get the worst of the bargain when you exchange ideas with the wrong person.
Don’t follow anyone who’s not going anywhere. With some people you spend an evening: with others you invest it.
Be careful where you stop to inquire for directions along the road of life.
Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships.
Happy moments? Praise God
Difficult moments? Seek God
Quiet moments? Worship God
Painful moments? Trust God
Every moment? Thank God
If you see people without a smile today … Give them one of yours.

8. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.
9. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
10. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around.
11. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.
12. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.

Occasionally, my job provides employees with free tickets to Memphis Grizzlies games. On the date of the ticket give-away, a line begins to form hours before the tickets are scheduled to be distributed. Lines are so long that they reach sometimes reach other buildings! In the line of the recent ticket give-away, many people looked at the line, assumed that too many people were ahead of them, walked away, and forfeited their tickets. For those who decided to stand in the long line, a security would periodically let us know that we were guaranteed tickets and that our waiting was not in vain. She said, “I know there are many people ahead of you. It looks like you won’t get tickets but stay in line—you will get tickets.” Stay in line.
Have you ever prayed and asked God for something and it seems that everyone else is getting what you want? You prayed for the job, healing, house, car, financial breakthrough, and it seems that everyone else is receiving what you asked God for? You feel that you’re at the end of God’s blessing give-way line, and you wonder if you just should give up and walk away. Be encouraged and know that you will receive that which you are praying for. It looks that many people ahead of you and that your level of expectancy is diminishing. However, God wants you to know that your blessing is guaranteed and your waiting is not in vain. Stay in line!

There are people who can walk away from you. And hear me when I tell
you
this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk.
I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you,
loving
you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached
to
you. I mean hang up the phone.
When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never
tied
to anybody that left. The bible said that, they came out from us that
it
might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of
us,
no doubt they would have continued with us. [1 John 2:19]
People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are
not
joined to you, you can't make them stay. Let them go. And it doesn't
mean
that they are a bad person it just means that their part in the story
is
over. And you've got to know when people's part in your story is over
so
that you don't keep trying to raise the dead. You've got to know when
it's
dead.
You've got to know when it's over. Let me tell you something. I've got
the
gift of good-bye. It's the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in good-bye.
It's
not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God
means
for me to have He'll give it to me. And if it takes too much sweat I
don't
need it.
Stop begging people to stay. Let them go!!
If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and was
never
intended for your life, then you need to ...LET IT GO!!!
If you are holding on to past hurts and pains ...LET IT GO!!!
If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and see your
worth...LET IT
GO!!!
If someone has angered you ... LET IT GO!!!
If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge .. LET IT
GO!!!
If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction .. LET IT
GO!!!
If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or
talents
... LET IT GO!!!
If you have a bad attitude...LET IT GO!!!
If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better... LET IT GO!!!
If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new
level in
Him... LET IT GO!!!
If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship....LET
IT
GO!!!
If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help
themselves...LET IT GO!!!
If you're feeling depressed and stressed .... LET IT GO!!!
If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling
yourself
and God is saying "take your hands off of it," then you need to... LET
IT
GO!!!
Let the past be the past. Forget the former things. GOD is doing a new
thing
for 2004!!! LET IT GO!!! Get Right or Get Left ... think about it, and
then
LET IT GO!!

| EVERYONE CAN'T BE IN THE FRONT ROW | | Life is a theater. Invite your audience carefully.
Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front row
seat in our lives. There are some people in your
life who need to be loved from a distance. It's
amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or
at least minimize, your time with draining, negative,
incompatible, not-going-anywhere
relationships/friendships.
Observe the relationships around you. Pay
attention. Which ones lift and which ones lean?
Which ones encourage and which ones discourage?
Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which
ones are going downhill?
When you leave certain people, do you feel better
or feel worse? Which ones always have drama, or
don't really understand, know or appreciate you??
The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace
of mind, love and truth around you, the easier it
will become for you to decide who gets to sit in
the front row and who should be moved to the
balcony of your life. You cannot change the people
around you. But you can change the people you are
around.
