| ... | 4/13/2004 | Things Noah taught us:
ONE: Don't miss the boat.
TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat.
THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
FOUR: Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
SIX: Build your future on high ground.
SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
NINE: When you're stressed, float awhile.
TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
ELEVEN: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting. | Tweety |
| Just Because | 4/12/2004 | Just Because" - Bishop T.D. Jakes Just because no one has been fortunate enough to realize
what a gold mine you are, doesn't mean you shine any less.
Just because no one has been smart enough to figure out
that you can't be topped, doesn't stop you from being the best.
Just because no one has come along to share your life,
doesn't mean that day isn't coming
Just because no one has made this race worthwhile, doesn't
give you permission to stop running.
Just because no one has realized how much of an awesome
woman you are, doesn't mean they can affect your femininity.
Just because no one has shown up who can love you on your
level, doesn't mean you have to sink to theirs.
Just because you deserve the very best there is, doesn't
mean that life is always fair.
Just because God is still preparing your king, doesn't
mean that you're not already a Queen.
Just because your situation doesn't seem to be progressing
right now, doesn't mean you need to change a thing.
Keep shining, Keep running, Keep hoping, Keep praying,
Keep being exactly what you are already . . COMPLETE!!

| ... | 3/20/2004 | You should never let adversity get you down---except on your knees. If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything! Most people wish to serve God, but only in an advisory capacity. | Tweety |

True faith and courage are like a kite---an opposing wind raises it higher. The trouble with the guy who talks too fast is that he often says something he hasn't thought of yet. | Tips for life | 3/17/2004 | Read Each One Carefully and Think About It a Second or Two
1. I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.. 2. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry. 3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. 4.. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart. 5. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them. 6. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile. 7. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
8. Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you. 9. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful. 10. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
11. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around.
12. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.
13. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you! least expect them to.

| I've learned | 3/10/2004 | I've learned.... That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.
I've learned.... That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.
I've learned.... That money doesn't buy class.
I've learned.... That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
I've learned... That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
I've learned.... That the Lord didn't do it all in one day. What makes me think I can?
I've learned.... That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
I've learned.... That when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.
I've learned.... That love, not time, heals all wounds.
I've learned.... That the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.
I've learned... That everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.
I've learned.... That there's nothing sweeter than sleeping with your babies and feeling their breath on your cheeks.
I've learned.... That no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.
I've learned.... That life is tough, but I'm tougher.
I've learned.... That opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.
I've learned.... That when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.
I've learned... That I wish I could have told my Dad that I love him one more time before he passed away.
I've learned.... That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.
I've learned.... That a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
I've learned... That I can't choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.
I've learned.... That when your newly born child holds your little finger in his little fist, that you're hooked for life.
I've learned.... That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.
I've learned ... That it is best to give advice in only two circumstances; when it is requested and when it is a life threatening situation.
I've learned.... That the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.

| Do It Anyway ! | 3/10/2004 | People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people will accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives, Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies, Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people will cheat you, Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight, Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they will be jealous, Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow, Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough, Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, It is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.

| 5 finger prayer | 3/8/2004 | 1. Your thumb is nearest to you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a "sweet duty." 2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers. 3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance. 4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our! weakest finger; as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them. 5. And lastly comes our little finger; the smallest finger of all. Which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, "The least shall be the greatest among you." Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.

| I Am a Christian | 3/2/2004 | When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'" I'm whispering "I was lost," Now I'm found and forgiven.
When I say..."I am a Christian" I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need CHRIST to be my guide.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need HIS strength to carry on.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect,My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain, I have my share of heartaches So I call upon His name.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not holier than thou, I'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow.
