Note: Following the instructions did not work--it wouldn't recognize it. However, I unplugged the SATA cable while both boxes were running which gave me an error that I'd just removed the drive (that it didn't recognize[?!]). Then I plugged it back in and it recognized it and asked if I wanted to format it. Following the formatting, I had to reboot the cable box and all was well. It acted like a windows plug-n-play device in this case.
