Jimmy Twedt Extreme Bullriding Tour Champion

Jimmy has rode bulls on the Extreme Bullriding Tour for several years and has always been among the top riders on the tour. but 2006 was his year to top the standings and take home the championship rewards. The awards he received for winning included a saddle which he will receive at Snow Bull in Burlington, Iowa, presented by Ironhorse Construction, Scotia, Nebraska. He also receives a Frontier Trophy Buckle presented by Frontier Trophy Buckles along with custom made chaps presented by Outlaw Outfitters from Missouri owned by Mike Gillum. He will also receive a log swing made especially for him by Busted R Rustics and Rodeo Gear owned by the Reynolds family also from Missouri. He also received a gear bag presented by U. S . Rodeo Supply. Thirty-nine year old, Richard Smith gave Jimmy a good run for the money and finished the year in 2nd place. Richard will also receive a saddle at Snow Bull presented by AlamoPoker.com along with a reserve champion buckle presented by Frontier Trophy Buckles. Both men have attended five or more events throughout the year and have delivered many exciting rides for our spectators. John Susie was this years Rookie of the Year and received a set of trophy spurs presented by Frontier Trophy Buckles. Tyler Bode took second place in the rookie race and received a custom made protective vest from JD Leathers. We would like to congratulate all these riders for their accomplishments!

This was an outstanding event. Not only was it our Finale for the year but an unbelievable committee was able to pull the event off for an equally unbelievable crowd despite the weather. That everyone arrived safely and gave such an awesome show is so greatly appreciated by the entire Extreme Bullriding Tour staff. It was not until everything was over that the total magnitude of the ice storm that hit the surrounding area was realized. Seven days after the event many homes and bussinesses just miles from the arena were still without electricity. Again a HUGE thank you to everyone who made our Finale so successful!
