| Brandon grew up on a small farm in west-central Missouri. All through his childhood he was fascinated by the sport of rodeo. While in high school and college he competed in several amateur rodeo associations competing in the steer wrestling more than anything, but trying all the events at one time or another. In 1997 he was the reserve steer wrestling champion and the finals average champion in the Missouri Youth Rodeo Association. |
