| In 2003, Gibson Farms Motorsports decided to spend the year rebuilding and reengineering. Over the course of the year they concentrated on more horsepower. The small block 360 cubic inch motor has been replaced by a new big block 505 cubic inch power plant. This increase in cubic inches should offer a gain of 50% more horsepower. The parts in the new power plant are engineered more towards high performance applications, versus the small block motor that was essentially stock equipment. |
