1. Motor block must be cast iron, must be able to swing stock crankshaft. Transmissions must be cast iron, cut gears allowed. Motor must be same make as truck. Any cast iron heads allowed - no aluminum heads allowed.

2. One 4-barrel naturally aspirated 4150 base carburetor used with either cast iron or aluminum intake manifolds. No Tunnell Ram Types. No Dominators and 2 inch Max Spacer.

3. Engine must be 8 cylinder only, 2 valves per cylinder, 470 cubic inches or smaller.

4. May run roller rockers, roller cams. Other internal modifications may be made.

5. Headers or open exhaust are allowed. Headers can exit through hood or down and back.

6. Body: must have bed. If bed is gutted, it must be covered.Tilt steel bodies allowed. Must have firewall,full floor with steel floor or aluminum equivalent. Front inner fender wells not required. No Plexiglas bodies.

7. Maximum wheelbase is 134 inches.

8. All components must be in original position on stock frame.

9. If original vehicle has doors and hood, the truck must stay original.

10. Tailgates may be removed for safety of person hooking.

11. Gas tanks can be mounted in front of the truck or in the bed. Factory tank can remain inside the cab. Battery may be anywhere on the truck, except for inside the cab or on the front

12. Street legal and ribbed front steering tires only. No bigger than 34 x 18.0 x 15 rear pulling tires only (Cepek/Pit Bulls) or maximum 35 x any width DOT tires cut or not.

13. Stall converters allowed. No centrifugal clutches allowed.

14. No weights in front of grill: can be under hood in engine compartment. No weights can extend more than one foot past rear part of the truck bed. No moving weights allowed.

15. Hitch: 36-inch minimum from center of rear axle to hitch point. Hitch must be stationary in all directions.

16. Cool cans and electric fuel pumps are allowed.

17. Maximum hitch height is 30 inches before, during, and after pull.

18. Can run gasoline fuel only.

19. No auxiliary boxes or transfer cases allowed. Single transmission only.

20. No rear suspension or rear springs required.

21. Big rear ends allowed. No outer planetaries.

22. Maximum of 2-inch clearance around air cleaner allowed.

23. All general and safety rules apply.

24. No rule changes until Fall 2007.
