I was listening and listening several mornings and never heard when the next book club would be meeting. Brian Alexanderstunna2@aol.comWednesday, June 28, 2006, 16:32 -06:00A book suggestion.Hello Alecia,

My name is Brian and I'm an infrequent listener of the show but listen whenever possible. I would, however, like to suggest a great book and author.

I just recently finished reading "Sisters of the Yam" by bell hooks. This book deals with issue's facing black women such as self-esteem, sexuality, and relationships. It seem's the subject matter of this book may veer from your typical fare but would not only make for an interesting read but discussion as well.

bell hooks, the author, has an entire collection of books designed to confront real issue's that face black folks in America.

You have the email. After you pick it up and read it, tell me how you like it. I'd love to come to one of your book groups and discuss it with the ladies.

Until then,

Brian Alexander
